Our products

Polypropylene

Polypropylene (PP) resins, as well as most polyolefins, are resistant to many solvents and chemicals, withstand well at higher temperatures, atoxic and versatile. It is suitable for injection of technical parts and packaging, production of textile fibers, medical-hospital, thermoforming, improvement of optical and processing characteristics.

Polyethylene

Polyethylene is one of the most widely used plastics in the world. This polymer allows the food to be packed economically and with an extended shelf life. It guarantees the safe transportation and distribution of chemicals and has many useful applications for everyday use.

Low density polyethylene (LDPE) - material with greater flexibility, impact resistance and transparency when compared to other polyethylenes. Usually used for blowing, film extrusion and injection molding.

Low linear density polyethylene (LLDPE) - material with excellent tear and impact resistance. With its processability a little worse than LDPE. Demonstrates high sealability and elongation, ensuring more packaging speed.

High density polyethylene (HDPE) - enables the production of more rigid parts, has good resistance to chemicals. It can be used for blowing and injection and can also be extruded for the manufacture of films, wires, tapes and tubes.

PET

Poly (ethylene terephthalate), is known chemically as a thermoplastic polyester polymer.

PET is industrially produced by direct esterification of purified terephthalic acid (PTA) with monoethylene glycol (MEG).

It has become very popular when used to make bottles of soft drinks (carbonated drinks). It is a material with excellent mechanical and chemical resistance, transparent and bright.

Recycled Materials

Seeking the socio-environmental balance in its operations Prisma began its activities in the segment of recycled resins. We currently have availability of PET Flakes in various shades, recycled PP and ground arch ribbons for reuse.
